1 was to have FHE every week. So far we have done all 23 lessons. Sometimes not on Monday night, once I forgot completely and had to combine lessons the next week, and many times it was completely lame with very little spiritual value. But I'd say overall I give myself an E for effort. The last few lesson have been "I'm thankful for my hands/eyes/body etc." so I stole this idea (see pics below) from my friend Nicole and it's been pretty fun.
2 was to go to the temple every month - not a lot to report here besides "check". It's been easier than I thought it would be.
3 was to lose weight - so far I'm down 15-20 lbs. (depending on the day) and that's about half way to where I'd like to be so if I can lose another 15-20 over the second half of 2010, I'll be happy.
This was an unexpected new undertaking - there was a small sewing machine for sale at Big Lots for $14 and I figured, why not. I'm not real crafty but my Mom did teach me how to make simple quilts and blankets so here's my first on my own sewing machine:

We've also been working on potty training now that summer is here and we are really pleased with how well it's going. I was a little too uptight with Lukas so I try to just leave things up to Brooklyn and give her lots of praise and she is doing awesome. I'd say 90% "house trained" - meaning she does great when we are at home.
Let's face it - she's my little girl - of course I censored the pictures.
Oh, and you can't see it here but Lukas is out of diapers at night - he's doing fantastic, too. It actually works out really nicely that he comes into our bed in the middle of the night (every night) because we don't let him get in until he goes to the potty.
Brooklyn wanted me to take her picture too.
Other projects coming soon... getting Brookie off the binky and out of her crib. Yikes!
