Valentines 2010

This Valentines, we got to cash in on my parent's Christmas gift to all their kids - babysitting for 2 weekends a year. My mom came a little early to get me through the last couple days of block week and then Brian and I stayed at the Stratosphere Friday and Saturday night. Timing couldn't have been more perfect for me because I was finally getting past being sick and medicated.

When we left the kids, I was a little crushed at their casual good-bye's but who can blame them when Grandma is so much fun...

In the meantime, Friday was a completely lazy day for us. I had packed a cooler of food and we never left the hotel. Saturday, (after sleeping in and getting ready without kids at my feet) we got to meet up with Lance and Emali to shop, see a show, and hit the buffet at Planet Hollywood. The show, Aussie Improv, was like "Who's Line is it Anyway" - a favorite show of mine. Brian and I got called onto the stage for one game and Lance went on stage for another. Bonus - free admission tickets on the way out. Another date night is in the works, score!
Sweetheart - Thanks for such a fun weekend! I'm so lucky and still in love.

Sandwich Visits

In January, my sweet Dad came to visit for a few days to help me with the kids and drive me home to AZ for work. The kids had a blast showing Papa all their toys and every piece of art. My favorite part was him taking the kids to McDonalds (twice) for breakfast so I could stay in bed through the worst of my morning sickness. Thanks Daddy!!

After I went home for a few days to work, my sister brought her family the following weekend for a visit. While they were here, we took all the kids to see a few things on the strip.
Gunner 11, Portlyn 9, Jacey 7, Lukas 4, Boe, 4, and Brooklyn 2. (Harlee stayed in AZ with Grandma.)

Christmas 2010

My mom and sister came for a short visit before helping me drive home for Christmas. I was just starting to feel the yuckiness of pregnancy, but we had a great time getting mani-pedis, Christmas shopping and eating at Roy's. Wish I had pictures but as usual, I slacked. At least I didn't forget to take Christmas pictures. Enjoy.

There's train ride with Santa in Boulder City. The kids loved it!!
