November
Fun for everyone on Veteran's Day.
Grandma Pew came to visit. She rescued me from piling laundry and dirty bathrooms. Cooked a bunch of freezer meals. Babysat so we could go to a movie. And as usual, she spoiled the kids.
I have ZERO pictures of this year's Thanksgiving but we celebrated as a family early on Wednesday. Thursday Daddy was at work so we visited the Nickle family in Davie (her Thanksgiving food was much more impressive than mine). Then picked up Shalene and Michael from the airport for their cruise. Lastly, the peds residents had a Thanksgiving party on Saturday so we got to celebrate one more time. They even planned it early so that we could come before Brian's night shift. This year I was Thankful that Brian was at the hospital to work and not to visit a loved one or be treated himself. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
October Activities
I've been enjoying some on-on-one time with my baby girl while the big kids are in school.
The school's PTO did a fun run and both kids finished all 35 laps. Proud Mamma. They have since joined the running club at school. I'm hoping they learn to like running - unlike their Mom.
I may have gone a little camera crazy snapping costume shots before the ward trunk or treat.
Brooklyn got to be in a Halloween parade at school and then I got to help out in the class parties.
Halloween night. They decided to switch it up on their costumes. Roxy LOVED saying "trick or treat" and filling her bucket with candy. My kids are the cutest!!
Stacey and Jason came to visit for a few days and hit up a Ravens game for Jason's Birthday. We LOVE visitors!
Made my first trip to the Orlando temple. It was beautiful but I'm looking forward to Fort Lauderdale being finished soon so that I won't have to travel quite so far.
This is how we announced that we are adding another little pumpkin to our patch. Coming May 2014
She is growing up a little too fast for me.

Birthday boys and Orlando
IHOP for Daddy's birthday breakfast.
One of the 3 resort pools.
Breakfast in bed.
Cinderella and Aurora. A 5-year-old's dream come true. We even used a precious Fast Pass for this.
Pirates of the Caribbean.
I LOVE the terror on their faces in this picture. Yay Splash Mountain!!
Since we had some extra time in Orlando after check-out, we decided to check out Gatorland. It did not disappoint. The Orlando resident prices were great and Lukas got to fulfill his wish of "wrestling" a Gator.
