Great Grandpa DeWitt

Last weekend we had the chance to go to Snowflake and celebrate the life of Brian's Grandpa, Melvin Kent DeWitt - 90 years old. He was so happy and playful, yet kind and thoughtful. He would always ask, "How are you, honey? Are you happy?" And the first time he met me he said I had "smiling eyes". His death brought him back home to a his earthly parents, Heavenly Parents, loving wife, many siblings and countless other loved ones awaiting him in paradise. The service was a well-deserved honor to an honorable man.

We stopped in Parks on the way home to visit Grandma and Grandpa Timon. My kids haven't had much access to snow in their lives so they had a blast building snowmen with their Daddy.
