Miracle #1: A couple weeks ago, we knew our name was getting close to the top of the wait list and I decided to try posting our house for rent on craigslist to see if we would get any interest. Well, it just so happened that this adorable couple with two little girls was praying to find a place to rent and called on the ad. We completely clicked with them and I know they're going to love being here and take great care of the house.
Miracle #2: We went to Vegas with my family for the weekend a couple weeks ago and looked at some rentals in Henderson while we were there. Well we found a cheap older place we thought would be great and called the number but the guy said it was already rented. We were bummed and told him out situation and he was bummed, too because his wife is a doctor and he "would have rather rented to us". Anyway, we told him to keep our number in case the renter fell through. He called right back to tell us he has another rental closer to the campus. We were excited but we were already on our way out of town. When he called Brian a couple days later to tell us about it, we found out the rent was $400 more than we were budgeting and Brian told him the pictures online were beautiful but "we're looking for something about $400 less". Amazingly, his wife, the doctor, called last Monday to tell us that she had some people who helped her while she was in medical school and she wants to help us, so she'd drop the rent to meet our budget.
Miracle #3: We finally got accepted!
It's amazing how things can go from feeling so crazy and uncertain until the Lord comes in and "calms the waves of the storm". It's incredible to feel that he knows us, hears our prayers, and wants to bless us when we strive to do what's right.

Congrats! That is wonderful news all around! Good luck with school and the move!
I suppose things really do come in 3's
Dude, Brian, Good Job. Getting into med school is not easy. I am a second year at Midwestern in AZ. The first year is hard, but just remember it is a marathon not a sprint. Spend time with your family everyday. I know you think you are going to see your family all the time, but there will be days you won't see your kids at all. Good luck. You will be amazed at how much you can learn. you kind of get into a groove after a while and it is not so bad.
Congratulations Brian! I'm sure you guys will love the adventure. When are you moving? When does school start?
Wow, those really are miracles! You guys must be doing things right!
