Here's our Christmas Picture for 2009. Brian's mom took pictures for about a half and hour and it looks like putting everyone on their stomachs minimizes wiggling and distractions. I better give a run down on our year or what my family calls the family Christmas letter.
Brian -
It's been a big year for Brian. He graduated from ASU in May with his bachelor's degree. He interviewed at 3 medical schools early this year and in July he was accepted to Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Nevada. He started his first semester of medical school in August and now has one behind him.
Celynda -
This past year I've been working at home taking care of my kids and as co-owner of a bookkeeping business. I packed up our house in late July and moved here to Nevada where I unpacked and have started making some great friends in our ward and at Brian's school.
Lukas -
Some of Luke's favorite things to do this year were to swim in our new swimming pool, wrestle with Daddy, watch cartoons and movies, and play with friends and cousins Kai, Griffin, Boe, Roman, Grayson, Dutch, Gracie and the neighbor boys. He's also learning to be a sweet big brother to Brooklyn and says almost all our family prayers. His 3rd Birthday was the social event of the year and Spiderman had a guest appearance that was awesome!
Brooklyn -
We've learned this year that Brooklyn has amazing verbal skills. She started talking at about 9 months and now she says just about everything including "all done", "please don't", "my turn","no way", and "toothbrush". She likes to do anything that Lukas does and loves to read books and play with Daddy. She is a bit sensitive and dramatic at times but we love her spunky personality and hope her terrible two's will be over as early as they've started. She gives the best cuddles and her bright blue eyes can light up any room.
Here's to hoping that 2010 is just as much fun with a little less craziness (I can dream).
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
Th DeWitts
